In this West Sussex house, the floor plan was changed entirely from the earlier layout which dated from the 80’s. The new room arrangement provided a more sociable way of living and extra useable space. Throughout the house, custom joinery allowed for both de-cluttering, and putting a library of books on display. To let in more light and to introduce a cleaner, modern element, one nternal wall was replaced by a crittall screen. As well as comfortable sitting rooms, both with log fires, we added three bedroom suites upstairs, each with its own strong identity. One bedroom and bathroom was painted in sunflower yellow with a custom designed wallpaper for the bathroom. A unique wallpaper and fabric was then designed for the principal bedroom, and the third suite was painted in a warm dusky pink.
