House - Hampshire, UK
The build of this modern country house came with the challenge of creating the atmosphere of a more established property. Reclaimed materials were used where possible and the newer elements were aged to achieve a sense of timelessness. Traditional details such as vaulted ceilings, generously scaled interior architecture and roof lanterns were used throughout. Patterned brickwork were used in combination with a variety of textures and bespoke, patterned marbles to give a sense of depth and interest to the design. The decorations featured warm, earth colours and provided a calm backdrop for a wonderful collection of antique furniture and artwork.
A full feature on the house was published in House and Garden magazine in November 2020.
